Neil R. Gelb

Mr. Gelb formed Neil R. Gelb, P.C. in 1992.  He possesses 20 years of litigation and negotiation experience in personal injury matters in Pennsylvania.  A native of Philadelphia, Mr. Gelb is enthusiastically involved in the Philadelphia community.  Mr. Gelb has worked with the City of Philadelphia to bring in championship boxing to the City’s Fourth of July Welcome America events over the past years, introducing luminaries such as Muhammed Ali, George Forman and Sugar Ray Leonard.   In 1995, Mr. Gelb was appointed by then Mayor Ed Rendell to a member of his Commission on Gambling.  Mr. Gelb is active in various charities such as the Ronald McDonald House, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation and the American Cancer Society.  Mr. Gelb received his law degree from University of Miami and is licensed to practice in all Pennsylvania state, federal and appellate courts.

Peter P. Barnett

Mr. Barnett, Neil R. Gelb, P.C.’s litigation manager, joined the firm offering over 33 years of experience in settling all types of personal injury claims.  Mr. Barnett is the former Claims Manager and past President of the Philadelphia Claims Managers Council.  Mr. Barnett is also a certified insurance expert in both state and federal courts.  In fact, Mr. Barnett served as a plaintiff’s bad faith expert in the largest bad faith verdict in Pennsylvania history, Hollock v. Erie Ins. Exchange, 588 Pa. 231, 903 A.2d 1185 (2006).  Mr. Barnett is a graduate of Boston College and Temple University School of Law.

Tinae V. Turcotte

Ms. Turcotte, Neil R. Gelb, P.C.’s operations manager, joined the firm offering over 15+ years of project management experience.  Ms. Turcotte formerly worked for Hewlett Packard as a Project Manager responsible for the Worldwide Corporate Price List for Inkjet and LaserJet Printers.  Ms. Turcotte is a graduate of Trend College and University of Phoenix.
